o·ver·whelm
1. To be overcome completely in mind or feeling:
Has this ever happened to you?
2. To overpower or overcome, esp. with superior forces;
Have you ever been buried by insecurities, worry or doubt?
3. To cover or bury beneath a mass of something,
Ever been buried by your to-do list? How about a mountain of laundry?
4. To overthrow.
Ever been thrown off course?
Ready to overthrow whatever’s overwhelming you?
Matthew 11:28-30 28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
Keep this scripture at the forefront of your mind. When you begin to operate once again as a pack mule, cramming as much as you can, where you can, when you can…stop! What good are you frustrated, frazzled and ready to snap at any given moment. Remind yourself that there is someone so much stronger and wiser just waiting to be acknowledged and ever so ready to help.
Love you all,
~Terica
